After 24 years of dedicated excellence and service to the University of Northern Iowa, Lori Seawel has made the decision to retire on Tuesday, July 23. There will be a reception to honor Lori on July 23 at the Great Reading Room in Seerley Hall. Doors will open at 1 p.m. with a presentation to begin at 1:15 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. Please feel free to share with others that you think may be interested in celebrating this special occasion with Lori. Please take a moment to congratulate Lori for her 24 years of service.
Part of the RSP Training series, final accounting is the financial reconciliation of your sponsored project, which helps you take a "final look" at your project and all the expenses related to your project. This Zoom session will guide you through the final accounting process for sponsored projects at UNI. Please register in advance.
This is a family-friendly event for all ages and gives the public an opportunity to meet local producers and learn more about what locally grown or produced food is available. $20/vehicle and $10/bike rider 18 years and older. Register HEREfor the event by Thursday, July 11, 2024 or until the event is sold out. Spots are limited to 25 vehicles and 25 bike riders. Everyone participating in the farm crawl must register. Fireworks return to the UNI-Dome for the first time in more than a decade on Thursday, June 27. The show is scheduled to begin at approximately 9:40 p.m. Music will be broadcast on 92.3 FM to accompany the display. Parking and restroom information can be found at bit.ly/FOTD24. Signage will also be located on-site to assist guests. This community event is free to the public.
