UNI WORKS project implementation teams are now engaged in review and validation of processes and data as they will apply in the Workday product (replacing Oracle E-business next July). Project Vision and Guiding Principles have also been completed. See UNIWORKS.uni.edu for a more detailed update.
Susan Etscheidt, Faculty Emerita of Special Education, will moderate a discussion on ethical principles for the framework, design, and conduct of qualitative research, including how to conceptualize research questions, engage participants and their voices in the process, and avoid objectification and "othering", particularly in disability studies. The Way Up Conference will take place Thursday and Friday, November 2 and 3, in Des Moines, at the Hilton Downtown Conference Center.
