The UNI Veterans Association and UNI Military and Veteran Student Services will be hosting a PTSD Awareness Conference on Wednesday, March 29 from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the University of Northern Iowa - Maucker Union Ballroom. Topics will include PTSD awareness, sexual and domestic violence, VA community resources and PTSD and substance abuse. The event is free for everyone. Please register in advance. Students can find free safer sex supplies at various locations on campus including the Student Health Center, Maucker Union, WRC and Rod Library. Merchant Scholarships are an annual scholarship opportunity for graduating seniors and UNI alumni pursuing graduate studies. Scholarships typically range between $2000-$4000 and will be awarded for graduate study for the fall of 2023. Recipients must be attending, or planning to attend, an accredited graduate or professional school as a full-time student. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
