Twenty project teams began work on June 6 to lay the groundwork for UNI WORKS (a system by Workday replacing Oracle E-Business Suite on July 1, 2024). A summer progress update is available at UNIWORKS.uni.edu. Future updates will be provided monthly and as milestones are met.
Military and Veteran Student Services is providing Green Zone Training Tuesday, September 12 in the Presidential Room Maucker Union from 1 - 2 p.m. and Thursday, October 26 in the Maucker Union Conference Room from 1 - 2 p.m. Learn about our Veteran and military students and their unique transition issues so you can better assist in their academic and personal success. Join the Tallgrass Prairie Center and the UNI Department of Biology Saturday, September 16 at Daryl Smith Prairie, 720 W. 29th St., Cedar Falls, to celebrate 50 years of prairie at the University of Northern Iowa. This event is free and open to the public. There will be a brief presentation at 1 p.m., and drop-in activities for both adults and children will continue until 3 p.m. Daryl Smith Prairie, a part of the UNI Biological Preserves, was first seeded in 1973.
