The College Tour is Casting Now for a UNI Episode!

We're looking for fun and engaging students to be featured in an episode of the globally streaming series The College Tour, which will film an episode about UNI on campus this October. Upload a video (under 2 minutes) by Thursday, August 25 telling us why you'd be the perfect student to help tell the University of Northern Iowa's story.

New location - Honors & Scholars Programs

Honors & Scholars Programs relocated to 3025 Bartlett Hall over the summer. The campus community is invited to explore the new space at an open house on Wednesday, Aug. 31 from 3-4:30 pm. Please join us for tours and light refreshments. Please use Bartlett Hall entrance S2--west end near the sculpture.

P&S Council - Regents Staff Excellence Award Nominations - Due August 17, 2022

The Regents Staff Excellence Awards are presented annually to those P&S employees from Regents institutions who have made outstanding professional contributions during their careers. All winners will receive a recognition certificate and will be recognized at the P&S Council Fall Social event this fall. Please take a moment to nominate someone you feel deserves this honor. Apply for Grow Cedar Valley's Leadership Institute

UNI's Office of Community Engagement will sponsor any UNI faculty/staff selected to participate in Grow Cedar Valley's Leadership Institute. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the Cedar Valley. Registration is open, apply now.

Security Awareness - Charity and Disaster Scams

What most of us regard as a tragedy, cyber criminals view as an opportunity, such as the breakout of a war, a major natural disaster such as a volcanic explosion, and of course infectious disease breakouts like COVID- 19. When there is an immense amount of social media and news coverage about a certain event, cyber criminals know that is the time to strike. Read more on the SANS webpage.

Retirement Readiness: Retire from UNI

Human Resource Services will host two informational sessions on retiring from UNI, for faculty and staff planning to retire soon. The hour-long sessions will be presented by Therese Callaghan, Employee Well-being Coordinator, on Tuesday, September 6 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in Gilchrist 009. Own Your Benefits: Updating Your Primary Care Provider (PCP)

For those benefit eligible employees covered under the UNI Blue Advantage health insurance plan, you and those you’re covering, may update your PCP at any time by calling the number on the back of your Wellmark ID card. PCP’s cannot be updated through the Benefits Self-Service system.
