CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The University of Northern Iowa Gallery of Art will present the spring 2022 B.F.A. Exhibition, which will open with a reception starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 28 in the Kamerick Art Building South lobby. The exhibition ends on Friday, May 13.
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The University of Northern Iowa Gallery of Art, in association with the UNI Department of Art, will present the 2022 Department of Art Faculty Exhibition from Thursday, Jan. 20 through Friday, Feb. 25. The opening reception begins at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 26, in the Kamerick Art Building (KAB) south lobby.
At just 9 years old, Roshan Subba made the incredible journey from a refugee camp in Nepal to Des Moines. Though Subba has few memories of his time in the camp, one thing he remembers is watching other children practicing calligraphy. Subba dreamed of being able to create intricate art like that someday.
Now, he’s a senior graphic design major at UNI and his first solo art show, “Modernism,” is being showcased through June 23 by Waterloo community center COR 220 East.
