The annual CSBS research conference is changing its name and format. Monday, April 9, will mark the inaugural CSBS Student Research and Engagement Conference. The conference is now open to majors across campus, and new project categories include research projects, volunteer/internship experiences, club activities and creative performances. The university community is invited to attend a presentation by Veronica Warren, a candidate for the Counseling Center director position, at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 28, in 002 SAB. Warren will speak on the topic of “Creating meaningful initiatives to enhance student utilization in the Counseling Center.”

The Spiritual Leaders Association (formerly the Campus Ministries Association) is hosting a faculty and staff appreciation lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 28, at St. Stephen's the Witness. All faculty and staff are invited.
Comprehensive Evaluation System sessions will be Monday, March 5, in Old Central Ballroom C, MAU. The session for probationary/tenure-track faculty will be from 3 to 3:55 p.m. followed by a session for tenured faculty from 4 to 4:55 p.m. The 3 to 3:55 p.m. session is for term and renewable term faculty followed by a session from 4 to 4:55 p.m. for temporary faculty and adjuncts. Other sessions will be Monday, March 19, in Old Central Ballroom A, MAU.
Effective Thursday, March 1, the cost of a pass for employees and their spouses to use the WRC and/or the Health Beat fitness room will be reduced to $100. The pass is good from the time of purchase until the beginning of the 2018 fall semester.
