Presented jointly by the UNI Gallery of Art and the UNI Department of Art, an awards ceremony will be held at 7 p.m., Monday, March 18 in the KAB Art Auditorium, room 111. This competitive exhibition showcases outstanding recent artworks by students enrolled in classes in the UNI Department of Art. The juror for this year's competition is Jake Manternach, senior designer for the Chicago White Sox and a 2017 UNI Alum from the Art Department. Manternach made a selection of 60 works of art from the 233 student entries and also chose a number of merit awards and honorable mentions. All events are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and by appointment.
