UNI's Safety Committees are Back-to-Back Champions

For the second year in a row UNI has been awarded the President's Award from the Iowa Illinois Safety Council for its outstanding contributions in controlling workplace hazards. This year's award recognized the work of all of UNI's safety committees including committees in Applied Engineering, Facilities Management, Housing and Dining and UNI's labs. Representatives from each of these areas attended an awards luncheon in Dubuque to accept the award on behalf of the university. Employees looking to build on this success are encouraged to join one of UNI's many safety committees.
