Julie Ann Beddow Celebration of Life and Career

Rod Library will host a Celebration of Life and Career for Julie Ann Beddow. Please join us from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, in the ScholarSpace (LIB301) to celebrate her attributes and contributions at UNI through her work, student encouragement and passion for learning. Remarks begin at 10 a.m., followed by a reception in her honor.

 

Take and make your favorite cookies for the holidays

Cookie dough and sugar cookie cut-outs as well as icing for decorating are available for purchase to take home and bake and share with your favorite people (or just yourself) this holiday season. Find assorted flavors of frozen cookie dough pucks and holiday-shaped sugar cookies at Biscotti's in Redeker Center. Your holiday baking just got a little easier.

KULT Radio is Looking for You

KULT 94.5 FM Radio, UNI's student-run radio station, is looking for applications for the positions of General Manager, Program Director, Web Director and Marketing Director. My Well-being: Flu Shot Clinics

Additional flu shot clinic dates and times have been added. If you haven't gotten your flu shot, there is still time. All benefit eligible faculty and staff are eligible for one free flu vaccination each year. For additional information visit the flu shot webpage.

Win a $1,000 Scholarship at Next Tuesday's Women's Basketball Game

The 3rd scholarship drawing of the year is happening at next Tuesday's UNI Women's Basketball game in the McLeod Center at 5 p.m. One lucky student will win this scholarship. The student must be present to win and also a full-time student at UNI.

Looking for spring 2023 Lifelong University class instructors

Lifelong University is looking for instructors with your expertise to teach a course in Spring 2023. Courses can be four, three, or one week long for lifelong learners. Instructors are paid $50 an hour and are able to come up with their own schedule. In the past, classes have been held at Western Home Communities in Cedar Falls as this location is best accessible for the class audience. For more information email the Lifelong University team by Wednesday, December 7.

De-Stress Days!

Student Wellness Services and other campus partners will be hosting De-Stress Days on December 5, 6 and 7 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Maucker Union Ballrooms. Stop by to enjoy the following stress relieving activities: coloring puzzles, bracelet making, notes of gratitude, inspirational rocks, hot chocolate, dogs provided by Pet Pals & Cedar Bend Humane Society, and The Labyrinth (a walking meditation that can be used to experience peace and relaxation).
