Federal judges rule on cases that can affect the profitability of particular companies and even whole industries. Imagine a judge handling a case with a large retailer. What would you think if this judge owned shares of stock in this large retailer and even bought or sold shares during the trial? You would be shocked and suspicious.

Interactive Digital Studies faculty and students will exhibit project work over the past 10 years. Learn more about the major with exhibits featuring Oculus Rift (Metaverse) demos, deep fakes, geolocation and digital archive projects, visual history timelines, photomontages and animations, and dedicated booths for each of the IDS emphases.

After teaching at the high school level for 13 years and receiving numerous teaching awards, Rachel Hansen has found herself back on the other side of the classroom. Not only is she a geography master’s student at the University of Northern Iowa, but she is about to be the geography department’s first recipient of an innovative graduate assistantship.
