Join Orchesis Dance Company for Spring 2025 auditions on Wednesday, December 11 from 6-8 pm in the WRC room 187. Orchesis is a pre-professional dance company that focuses mostly on modern and jazz techniques, but there are opportunities to perform tap, contemporary, hip-hop, ballet, and more. Come early to warm up, and then there will be a ballet, modern, jazz, and optional tap section. Wear tight-fitted clothing and pull your hair back. No dance experience is necessary.
Student Wellness Services and other campus partners will be hosting Wellness Days (previously known as De-Stress Days) on December 9, 10 and 11 in the Hemisphere Lounge and Chats Coffeehouse in Maucker Union. Both the Men's and Women's UNI rugby teams are headed to nationals. The Women's team is ranked third in the nation D1 and the men's are ranked first in D2.

University Relations will be holding the final headshot day of the semester for faculty and staff on Monday, December 2 in the University Relations photo studio, 105 E. Bartlett. Please sign up in advance to reserve your spot. Once photos are ready, they will be housed in Photoshelter and can be accessed via CatID log-in.
The 2025 Annual Benefits Open Enrollment period is going on now and will run through Saturday, November 30, 2024. During this time you may learn what is new for 2025, as well as review and change your benefit elections. Any changes made to your benefit elections will be effective January 1, 2025. No action is needed if you do not wish to make changes to health, dental, vision or VTL. However, employees wishing to contribute to a Flex Spending Account (FSA) must enroll or re-enroll each year. Utilize UNI Works to make all changes and view the Open Enrollment webpage for more details.
The P&S Council is hosting a professional development conference for all UNI staff and faculty members on Thursday, May 29. The conference is currently seeking breakout presentation proposals.
