After high school, Liz Clark attended an online community college while living at home, but she felt like she was missing out on the campus life experience. After visiting the University of Northern Iowa campus, Clark knew she wanted to transfer to UNI to study - and live.

UNI alum Grant Menke graduated with a degree in political science and has since worked with some of the state's top politicians and major agencies. Most recently, Menke was named Deputy Secretary of Agriculture with the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship.
