The University of Northern Iowa will appear on an upcoming episode of “The College Tour,” featured on Amazon Prime. Created by Emmy-nominated and multi-award-winning producers, “The College Tour” gives viewers an up-close look at colleges and universities all around the country.
Mo Ponton, a junior majoring in social work at the University of Northern Iowa, and her best friend Kierra Jack, an interior design major at ISU, launched a podcast called "Black Girl in College," in which they discuss their college experiences and challenges as Black women.
Olivia Chambers has faced immense challenges since losing her sight. It’s taken a lot of adjustment, help from her coaches and teammates and learning how to re-orient herself in the pool, but she is still racking up wins. Most recently, she made the 2023 U.S. Paralympics Swimming National Team roster.
The University of Northern Iowa Gallery of Art will welcome artist Shannon Taggart to campus for a discussion on her new book “Séance, followed by a book signing,” on Wednesday, Feb. 8, in the Kamerick Art Building.
