Summer workshop for music teachers

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The University of Northern Iowa is now accepting enrollments for two music education workshops this summer: Audio Engineering for Educators and RockShop! Modern Band Workshop. 

Each workshop is designed for teachers to enhance learning and instruction in their music classrooms. One hour of undergraduate or graduate credit is available for each workshop.

Noyce Grant recipients showcase UNI's STEM expertise

A team of three University of Northern Iowa faculty members have been awarded a one-year grant of $66,682 from the Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program to participate in a Noyce Capacity Project that aims to address the national need to develop an Elementary Master STEM Teacher Leader program in Iowa.

John Deere Waterloo Operations’ donation to Teach Waterloo helps diversify district’s teacher workforce

Teach Waterloo, a partnership forged between the University of Northern Iowa and the Waterloo Community School District, will receive $100,000 in funding from John Deere Waterloo Operations. This is to support the Teach Waterloo mission to grow and diversify the local educator workforce.
